一目千本桜で有名な奈良の吉野山。
下千本、中千本、上千本、奥千本と時の移ろいで変化するピンクの絨毯は見事らしい。
Instagram等でも多数の投稿がありますが確かに美しい。
こちらも行こう行こうと思っていたけど遠くて今まで行けていなかったので急遽4月5日の日曜日に行ってみます。

Mount Yoshino in Nara is famous for its "One Thousand Cherry Trees at a Glance."

The pink carpet of cherry blossoms, which changes with the passage of time from Shimo-senbon (lower thousand trees), Naka-senbon (middle thousand trees), Kami-senbon (upper thousand trees), to Oku-senbon (inner thousand trees), is said to be magnificent.

There are many posts on Instagram and other platforms, and it is indeed beautiful.

I've been meaning to go for a while, but it's been too far, so I haven't been able to until now. I've decided to go on Sunday, April 5th.

【26年京都の桜 Kyoto's cherry blossoms in 2026】

桜の見頃は短い。まだ蕾だから咲いてから見に行こう、そろそろ満開だし見に行こうと思ったら雨、晴れたから行こうと思ったら雨風で散っている。
毎年まだ見ぬ何処かに行こうと思いながらもこんな感じで見れずに終わっていました。
が、己も50手前になりいつまで元気でいられるかわかりません。また来年度に、また来年度にと言っていたら一生桜を見れません。
という訳で26年度は仕事の合間や仕事後に結局と言えば結局ですが近場を中心に桜を愛でてきました。

The cherry blossom season is short.

Every year I think about going somewhere I haven't seen yet, but it always ends without me being able to see them.

However, I'm approaching 50, and I don't know how much longer I'll be healthy. If I keep saying "next year, next year," I'll never see the cherry blossoms.

So, in 2026, I ended up enjoying the cherry blossoms mainly in nearby places, during breaks and after work.
