Day trip to the Yoshino River Bridge in Tokushima Prefecture】 26’6/13

The weather was calm even after work on Saturday. Since I had no plans for the weekend, I decided to go for a ride somewhere, partly to test out my newly fitted GS, but where to go?
Suddenly, I felt like seeing the JR Shikoku Kiha trains, and if the weather was good, I imagined the Yoshinogawa Bridge sparkling in the sunset. So, even though it was before 4 PM, I left work and headed towards Tokushima.

Farewell to the Hankyu 6300 series】 26’6/7

I've been seeing a lot of posts on Instagram lately about the farewell to the 6300 series.
When I first started taking pictures, I often went out to photograph trains along the Hankyu line, but my focus shifted to JR trains and airplanes, and I stopped going out to photograph them.
Even so, during my nearly 20 years of using the line—kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school, and even during my gap year—the 6300 series, a train I considered a "special vehicle," was always running as a matter of course.
Now, the 6300 series is finally being withdrawn from service on the Arashiyama line, and it seems that the decommissioning is progressing. With the installation of platform doors, the replacement with the 8300 series is accelerating, and the beautiful side view of the double-windowed train, once called the queen of the Kyoto-Osaka line, is nearing its end.
